The Path That Built the Studio
Mirela’s story begins long before Naples. She trained as an event manager and event designer at the University of Darmstadt in Germany, with earlier studies in nutrition science and hotel management — three disciplines that taught her, in different ways, how to host people beautifully.
By her late twenties she was running one of Germany’s largest event design and floral design companies, leading a full team and producing weddings, galas, brand activations, and private celebrations across Europe. Clients were demanding. Budgets ran high. Standards were exacting. As a result, it became the school that shaped everything she does today.
A Second Chapter in Florida
In July 2018, after several visits to Florida, she decided to begin a second chapter — this time on her own terms. Naples Picasso Flowers opened in November of that same year. What started as a single designer in a new country has grown into Southwest Florida’s most credentialed luxury floral and event design studio.
